At Winnipeg, Mr. MePhail, president of the Canadian V heat Ppol, announced the fimil payment in excess of 1)3,800,000 for the 1020 crop of pooled wheat. He said that of the total amount the Saskatchewan pool received approximately £2,000,000, Alberta £BOO,OOO, and Manitoba £400,000.
The total payments to the three provincial pools represent the net balance after deducting all the marketing costs incurred by the central selling agency, namely, storage, interest charges, and administrative expenses. The final payments, representing the spread between the grades, vary from 14/5 cents per bushel’for Durum to 071 cents for No. 0.
The administrative expenses of the central selling agency for the 1020-27 ci op year are covered by a reduction of less than one-tiftli of a cent, per bushel.
