FARMER MISSING
BELIEVED TO BE DROWNED (Per Press Association.) HAMILTON, this day. William Sanders, a farmer, of To Kowhai, has been missing since yesterday morning, and is believed to have been drowned. . He owned two farms, one on each side of the Waipa river. He left home intending to visit the other side, and instructed his son to follow later. When the latter reached the rjver he found his father's horse tied up, and a coat and bag on the riverbank. The ferry punt, was missing. The police are dragging the stream. Sanders has a family of six children, the oldest being 10 years of age.
