FREEZERS' DISPUTE
NEW SECRETARY ELECTED (Special to the Herald.) CI IRISTCHUROH, this day. Mr, 11. 0. Revell, at present Mayor of.Kaiapoi, has been elected to the position of .secretary to the Freezing Trades Union. Tho ballot was called as a result, of Air. F. C. Ellis' resignation. Mr. Revell has had a lengthy career in trade union work, particularly among woollen mill workers and freezing workers.
" I'm more than pleased with the election of Mr. Revell, whom I myself nominated," commented Mr. Ellis to-day. " The election indicates a clear vole of confidence in my policy and administration, which Mr. Revell is pledged to carry on." -
