SOUTH AFRICAN TESTS (Australian and N.Z. Cable Association.) i LONDON,; June 25. Marconis have issued a statement that the South African beam radio tests arc completed. While the contract required an 11 hours daily service, the tests showed that on two wave lengths, 1(1 metres in daylight and .13 in darkness, a modification of the transmitter and of the aerial feeder systems enabled 22 hours) communication outward and 20 inwards.
