AERIAL LUXURY
A NEW MONOPLANE (N.Z., and A P.A., and Sun.) (Received June 27, II a.m.) LONDON, June 26. A new Fokker monoplane with its wings constructed of three-ply and its body constructed of welded steel tuning and equipped wiht two Bristol-Jupiter engines, and carrying 15 passengers in a luxuriously-furnished saloon, lias arrived at Croydon, and is now participating in the regular lajiidun-Amsterdam service. CIVIL AVIATION BRISBANE, June 24. Wonderful success is attending the efforts of the Queensland and Northern Territory Aerial Services Ltd. (Quantas), which , operates for thousands of miles regularly in tho spacious northern State. (Jp to date 474.762 miles'have been flown by the company’s service planes, and during the last month a total of 7695 was flown. Route passengers for the month numbered 80, and taxi passengers 2, while 637J,1b. of freight was carried. The Brisbane flying school, organised by Quantas, is training eight pupils, arid 132 passengers have been carried.
