Norman (Gisborne), Gordon and David (both of Waverley). \ most impressive service was conducted bv the Rev. Mr. Alclvor, now of Mnrton and formerly minister at Waverley, the church being Idled by the many friends from Waverley and district. “ Rev. Mr. Mclvor m the course* of his remarks, said that Daw had assembled that day m sorrow for the loss of one who had always given of her host to the church and her .fellow creatures, hut also with a feeling of thankfulness that many were the better for having been associated with bfe so full of the higher ideals, who was so .unswerving from the paths of H”lileonsness and faith, and who so earnestly pui into practice the golden rule, always endeavoring to do unto others (hat which she would wish they should do unto her. The late Mrs. Walkpi iiad always given of her best, thereby endearing herself to all with whom she came in contact with, and upon many her kindnesses were liberally bestowed.
