After the Minister, of Justice hadannounced that Cachin must give himself up to the authorities -within. 10 days, - the Socialists moved an., amendment demanding that i Cachin should not be arrested during the present session.
The amendment. • was lost by 241 - votes to 239. _. '
Cachin declared that he is willing to be imprisoned for. his principles.
