That certain amendments lo the Licensing Act are required was emphasised by Mr. W. (!. Riddell, S.M., (chairman), at a meeting of the Wellington Licensing Committee. ''The urgcments placed before the committee, in the matter of wholesale licenses go to show the necessity for amending the Act," lie remarked during a, discussion between opposing counsels as to the interpretation of certain sections. "The Act should be clarified in order to make it simpler for licensing committees to interpret."
