Averages of representative players for the l!>20-27 season, compiled by the Waiapu Cricket Association, show W. Gates to be in the lead with a batting average of 3!>.0, with G. Gates, 38.7, next in order. There is a fairh' substantial drop between the average of G. Gates and that of the next in order, K. Spence, who has 25.0, and thereafter.the baiting averages of tin! representative players are: J. Mill 20.8, .1.. Gates 20,15, G. Mill 15, Culwick MM, C. Franklin j.:t.fi, G. Franklin 12.5, P. Wickens 10.8, W. Boulnois !), P. V\\ .1. Pox !>, ,1. Hiivlov l>, .1. Hfeedinan S, G. Cotterill "(i,' R, Chalmers 4.5, O. Illingwort h 4.5, and S. Mill 2. K. Spouse heads the bowling for the season with an average of 24, faking eight wickets for 102 runs. W. Oates is next with 25, and the average of Ho; principal remaining bowlers are: (i. Franklin 27.0, G.Mbites 2D.H, P. Wickens 31, (VFranklin 34.5, G. Mill 7C.5, and Culwick SO. TOKOMARTi CLUB FIGURES The figures for the Tokoniaru Bay Cricket Chili show that W. Boulnois leads in the batting with an average ol 20.0, P. Wickens being next with 23,7, and W. Oates third with 22.2. The remaining balling averages are: G. Gates 20, .1. Robertson 15.."., W.
