In an attempt to prove that flying is cheaper than motoring, a novel golf match is to be played on different courses, reached by aeroplane. In each instance, the 'plane will land on the course.

Piloting a Moth, in which his opponent, Captain Gordon Aston, will lie a passenger, Captain Barnard will leave from Stag-lane, London, on Tuesday, and visit in turn Sunningdale and lloylako, the pair playing IS-holes on each course.

They will then ily to St. Andrew's, where' the night will be spent, and the Moth garaged, with the wings folded up. Play will conclude an the Royal and Ancient and Brancaster courses, and the journey back to London will be made in the evening.
