POVESTY BAY CLUB The result of the handicap pairs now about to be finalised is as follows: Saturday players, A section: Hickman and Slight win the section outright. B section: Three teams tie. and wilt plav off to-morrow, weather permitting. Andrew and Sliann meet Somervell and Morrison, and the winners play Curteis and Hay. Thursday players: In tbe A section Wvatt and Mad dock win outright, and in'the B section Wilkinson arid Rosie tie with Hartley and Shorter. The final of the McGibboii shield fours is to be plaved next Thursday, and the pairs semi-finals tbe following Thursday. Every effort is to be made to get these name's off to schedule so that the competitions can be settled tbis season. Piav "will commence at 1.30 p.m.
