3000-MILES MARATHON
LOS ANGELES, May fi, A Marathon race which will take three months to run is being organised by a well-known sports promoter for February, 1028. The course will be from Los Angeles to New York, a distance of 0000 miles. Promises of 5000 dollars in prize money have already been received. The contest is open to the world, and at least 100 runners are expected to compete.
