U.S. BATTLESHIP AGROUND
NEW YORK, May 1. Tho Cuited States' battleship Colorado (32,600 tons), one of the major fighting craft in the American Navy, went aground yesterday on Diamond Reef while entering New York Harbor to join 120 other warships assembled in tho Hudson River for a. review. Efforts made by tugs to pull her off failed. She is partly blocking harbor traffic, 'the work of lightening her in order to refloat her is proceeding, but it may be necessary to remove her eight sixteen-ineh guns.,
