DEFAULTING LODGER
GIRL DESTROYS CLOTHING. LONDON, Juno 4. Rosalie Allen, a pretty schoolgirl of 16, was charged at the Maryleboue Court to-day with doing damage to the. extent of £250 to the clothing of Major Norman 'Stewart Dawson, a son of the well-known jeweller. Fividen.ee was given that Dato;son, with a woman taking the name of Mrs. Dawson, lodged with the girl Allen's mother, who was a distinguished doctor's willow, but- was compelled to support herself and her children by taking in lodgers. Dawson incurred a bill for £55 and disappeared, and the defendant, who was recovering from mumps and did not realise what she was doing, destroyed his dress and lounge suits and other property. Defendant was remanded, her mother undertaking to send her to school in Switzerland.
