POWDER PUFFS NEXT? MELBOURNE, June 5. A novel claim for full-sized mirror* for women workers is contained in the new log of wages and" conditions prepared by the Manufacturing Grocers' Union. Employers arc asked to provide one square foot of mirror for each four women employed. Tbo secretary of the union Mr F. J. Riley, said that the union was serious in its claim. " "Our girls take pride in their wearing apparel," he said. "Mirrors assist them to maintain their pride of place among other women workers." ,-g Ho said that mirrors hnd already proved a. great success at Melbourne's largest match factory.
