GARAGE AND LORRIES BURNT
(Per Press Association.) \\ AIPI'MTI.U . this day. Shortly before H a.m. to day a brick garage at the Waipukuraii Dairy Go's factory was gutted by lire, only the brick 'walls remaining afterwards. The four lorries destroyed were insured for £1550, the building for £7OO. and tools etc. for £SO. the policies being held in the South British otlice. 'the outbreak was caused by the engine of a lorry back-firing, the building becoming qtikdily ablaze. One small true], was rescued. The garage was previously gutted three years ago.
