It has always been a diflieult matter to induce members of the Farmers' Union to attend meetings. .This perennial subject was the topic of discussion by the Waikato Sub-provincial executtve in Hamilton. One member remarked that a radio programme was the "tit-bit" Ills branch had resorted to in getting farmers to attend meet nigs in bis district, while the "bait" that another' branch used was a. cup of. coffee.
