KILLED BY MOTOR LORRY
(Per Press Association.) MASTERTON, last night. John McKenzie, 44, single, with no relatives in tho Dominion, was killed this afternoon through being crushed under a motor lorry, which fell down the bank of Hinakura hill, south of Martinborough. The deceased was a county employee, and in company with a workmate was being given a ride on a motor truck driven by a youth named Lefort. While negotiating the hill the hack wheel struck the edgo of a culvert, and the machine headed over tho side Of the road, falling about 20ft. ■■ The driver and the other passonger were thrown clear, but. deceased' was crushed beneath one of the back wheels.
