N.Z. COUNCIL MEETS PROPOSED SOUTH AUSTRALIAN VISIT (Per Press Association.) CHRISTCHURCH, this day.

At a meetin>;' of the management committee of the New Zealand Cricket Council some discussion took place on the advisability of inviting a .South Australian team next year. Mr. Winsor doubted tho advisability of doing so. Ho considered .that a. New South Wales or Victorian team 'would always be a better attraction.

It was decided to inquire if South Australia would accept an invitation to New Zealand in February and March next. It was decided to stress the fact that the inclusion of star players would be essential.

Cabled advice was received that. New Zealand's 'share of the gates ' at the matches in England were: M.C.C., £124; Essex. £115; Cambridge, £9O; Middlesex; C246;' Roval Navy, £42; Sussex. £92.
