W ■■•' Times are very hard in the Reform camp just now, hence the number of circulars being sent round various departments asking them to practice economy, otherwise it will bo necessary to make a cut in the pay envelopes. Other departments are being told not to purchase supplies in their local towns, but in order to save expense to requisition these from Wellington. Not bad for Wellington, of course, but no good to local tradesmen.—Wanganui Herald.
