Great pleasure was given to the pioneers at the old-time dance last- evening by the presence of the Hon. Mr. and Mrs. R. F. Bollard, who entered with the heartiest spirit into the festivities. A sign of the times! The totalisator figures at the races m Hastings last weekproved that the money market is tight, in another way there was also evidence that tilings are not as prosperous generally as they have been.—Napier Telegraph.
