CASE AGAINST SERVICE COMPANY' (Special to Urn Herald.) OPOTIKf, this djiy. An interesting civil case was heard in the Police Court yesterday before Mr.. W. O. ICeitrick, S.M. The action arose from an accident which happened some weeks ago on the Oisborne-Opotiki road, when a horse and trap driven by Mr. T. 15. Stott fell over a cliff, owing to a collision with a. He Luxe service car. The plaint iff jumped out before the cart fell. Alter a lengthy hearing the magistrate awarded plaintiff damages of £36 3s 9d.
