F.B. LADIES' CLUB: {ANNUAL MEETING. There was a good attendance of members at the annual meeting of the Poverty Bay Ladies' Golf Club yesterday afternoon. Mrs. B. U. Burke presided. Reviewing the results of the past sea : son and the prospects for the coming year, Mrs. Burke expressed regret that five of the members of the committee were not available for re-election. Hearty votes of thanks were tendered to the retiring committee members for their past services to the club.
The meeting resolved to conduct an annual ball during the season, as usual, but details of the organisation were deferred for later discussion.
Mrs. B. J. Reynolds was, re-elected president for the ensuing year, . and other offices were filled as follows: Vice- • presidents, Mesdames Built O'Meara and Morgan; captain, .Mrs. R. U.J Burke; hon. secretary, Miss M. Bull: j committee, Mesdames Albertson, Wil- I lock, Brown, Black, Dohson; King, Misses Millar and Nolan. The club season will he ouencd on Anril 2, with a series of mixed liiatehes. J Members of the ladies' club desirine io j participate should advise their honorary secretary on or before March 30. ~ !
