YALLOURN STRIKE
CONFERENCE UNSUCCESSFUL

MELBOURNE, December 8.
A conference of the Trades Hall disputes committee and the Electricity Commissioners failed to find a solution to the dispute existing at Yallourn. The proposals for a settlement submitted to the conference are to receive further consideration. It is hoped that negotiations will be resumed, and a basis for settlement found.
