A BISHOP'S INDICTMENT f Dr. Radford, Anglican Bishop of Goulbourn, New South Wales, in a recent sermon, said that the world today had no thought of God. People were letting Cod go from their lives, their homes and their business. Ho deplored the utter lack of reverence for sacred days. On Good Friday, the day on which Christ was crucified for man's redemption, people seized the opportunity for making high holiday. This occurred also with days like Easter Sunday, Christmas Day, and many days sacred in the Christian world.
Dr. Radford, referring to the need for greater missionary effort, said that only 16 per cent, of British subjects were Christians, and only onethird of the world's population was Christian. Examination of these facts showed that the King of England, defender of the faith, was ruler of the greatest Mohammedan Empire in the world, and the British Empire was the greatest Moslem Empire. In Australia, he said, only one in IS of aborigines was Christian.
