Tillyard, the New Zealand entomologist, sailed by the Corinthie, taking with him 200 parasites of earwigs intended to destr6y earwigs in New Zealand. The parasites are scarce during Che present year, necessitating Dr. Tillyard searching throughout Europe. They cost Is each. He is also taking several kinds of insects hoped *to destroy blackberry brambles. Before they are liberated they will be tested to ascertain their effect on other plants..
