POVERTY BAY ELECTRIC-POWER BOARD. NOTICE TO CONSUMERS OF ELECTRIC CURRENT. THE following Stole of Charges for the use of electricity lias been adopted by the Poverty Bay Elect l iepower Board, and will come into force at the first reading of meters in January, 1927: DOMESTIC LIGHTING—--7d per unit for Borough Areas. 8d per unit for County Areas. DOMESTIC HEATING AND COOKING—3d per unit for the first 2t units: per unit for the next 8C units: 2 per unit for all over 100 units. COMMERCIAL LIGHTING, i.e.. Shops, Offices, Hotels, and Licensed Board-ing-houses.—7d per unit for the first 200 units; 6d per unit for all over 200 units (Borough area, only). COMMERCIAL HEATING, Radiators in Shops, Offices. Hotels, and Licensed Boardinghouses—4d per unit.

GENERAL POWER —3d per unit for the first 100 units; per unit for tin next 400 units; 2jd per unit for all over 500 units (Borough area only). Minimum charge, 2/6 per month. Meter rent.of 1/- per month for every meter in excess of one. The above rates represent 80 per cent. of the total charge. The total charge becomes payable on all accounts not paid by the Discount Day indicated on the account.
