FELL OVER CLIFF
MAN FATALLY INJURED (Ter Press Association.) TAUMARUNUI, this'day. Yesterday near Aukopae, about ' 15 miles down the Wanganui river, Jinny Roborts Tell over a cliff and received fatal injuries. Deceased Mas employed by the Public Works Department and was engaged cutting scrub preparatory to road formation work. Roberts fell some 70ft. A stretcher was made by his mates and the injured man carried over rough country for five miles, but ho expired before medical attention arrived.
