CONSIDERABLE ADVANCE
AUCKLAND WOOL PRICES GOOD CLEARANCE EFFECTED (Per Press Association.! AUCKLAND, this day. The Auckland Woolbrdkers' Association's report on tho sales states that prices show a considerable advance on Wellington, Napier, and Wanganui, but the Auckland clip at the present sale represents the best quality wool presented to buyers this season.
Ninety-five per cent, of the 18,155 bales offered was sold.
There was keen competition for practically all (lie lobs offered. Values all round wore an improvement on the prices at southern sales. A keen Continental demand existed fop bellies and pieces. Low crossbred was also in keen competition.
