A NEW THEORY
THE TENTERFIELD FIRE MURDER AND SUICIDE (Elee. T«?l. Copyright—Uwt#d Press Assn.) SYDNEY. Nov. 25. A post-mortem examination of the victims of the Tenlerlield lire revealed bullet wounds in the heads of all deceased. The theory now is that Constable Milton shot his wife and children and then set tire to the house and shot himself. Neighbors state they heard a sound like a shot about midnight, but a niece of Milton 's sleeping on the verandah, who gave the alarm of the fire, states she heard nothing unusual until the lire broke out. Other testimony shows that Milton lived wry happily with his wife and fniniiv, to whom he was extremely attached. A message received yesterday stated that as a result of a fire in a cottage at Tcnterfield at an early hour in the morning, Constable Miltoii and his wife and three children were burned to death.
