SUCCESSFUL ’ FUNCTION o*i i aecoiMif of the lateness of the season the entries in the tlower classes at the Kaitaratahi rose show to-day were not as numerous as last year. The show was a highly successful one, .however, and 1 the exhibits included many excellent blooms. The entry of rosea was weak, but in the needlework section a, record number'was received, while the sewing, cooking/and vegetable seelions were also well entered for. Due to the effort of the joint- secretaries ami organisers, Mrs. MaUiesoti and Mr. A. McL. Pirie, Ihr, arrangements for the function were carried through without a bitch, and the adjudicating of the, classes was completed in a .short time. AWARDS.
