new era in industry LONDON, Nov. 18. A group of British coal firms lias secured the British rights to a new process, the invention of a. German, Dr. Berguiss, for turning coal into oil, says the Daily News. The paper comments: “The coal industrv throughout tho world is on the eve of a new era. Only by the use of oil from coal can British industry be maintained at its present production capacity.”
