MEMORANDA
The Gisborne Scottish Society’s social and dance in the City Hall tomorrow evening will be run solely by the male members of the society—programme, catering and decorations, and the washing up. The ladies ommittee have been responsible for all previous function* A good programme lias bioii arranged.
' The South African Veterans’ Association will hold the annual re-union on Saturday evening, and Liberty Hall should see a big gathering. Usually this function is held in Show Week, hut this year’s was postponed in order not to clash with the R.S.A. reunion. The business of the meeting will bo despatched in short order, and the subsequent proceedings will ho purely social. Imperial and Colonial ex-service men are invited to attend.
