Mr. W. Graham, who has been in Gisborne for the past live or six months, left, this morning for Hamilton. Mr. W. D. Lvsnar, M.P., who has been on a visit to Wellington in connection with several local matters, returned to Gisborne last evening. Mr. William Tlaiiiwoll, of Wigan, has accepted an invitation from the New Zealand Brass Band Association to act as principal adjudicator at the Wellington contest in February'.
Mr. Bruce and Mr. Coates set out from London for Scotland on Tuesday night. Though nothing is definite there is a strong likelihood that Mr. Bruce will sail for home via Canada
and America, leaving London on Pc cembcr 14.
Mr. J- R- Tomplin, of Messrs. Temp* lin and Toogood, consulting engineers to tho Poverty Bay Power Board, arrived in Gisborne last, evening on business connected with the board's operations. Mr. 11. F. Toogood is expected to reach Gisborne this evening.
