LABORATORY MISHAP
explosion injures three FORCE BREAKS WINDOWS (Per Press Association.) WELLINGTON, this day. C. Baricoat, N. R. Dunn, and 11. J. Wood, assistants at the Dominion Laboratory, were cut about the head and face by flying glass, following an explosion at the laboratory. The injuries are not expected to prove serious.
It. is understood that the explosion occurred while one of the staff was engaged in nitrating oil. The explosion was heard some distance away. The windows on the south side of the room were broken.
