STRAWBERRY MARKETS
WEATHER APFECTS CROPS (Special to the Herald.) AUCKLAND, this day. Strawberries continue to* come on to the Auckland market in fair supplies, and a consignment was sold today. The berries should be plentiful at this time,, but the recent rains and cold weather have retarded the growth, and the fruit sold was of somewhat poor quality. Prices ranged from Is 7d to 2s 4d a chip.
