HUGE SHEEP LOSSES
EFFECT OF THE DROUGHT 5,000,000 TO 6,000,000 (Received October 15. 2 p.m.) BRISBANE, October 15. It is estimated that between 5.000,000 and 6,000,009 sheep in Central and Northern Queensland have been lost as a result of the drought, which has just broken. Losses in catlle, due to the same caussc. also were very heavy.
