MINISTER ON TOUR VISIT TO HAWKE’S BAY (Per Press Association.) DANNEVTRK E, this day. The Minister of Education, the Hon. R. A. Wright, staved overnight at Dannevirke. This morning be visited the local schools, and also received n deputation of the Dannevirke High School Board of Governors respecting the suggested increased accommodation to cope with the growing requirements of the school. s The Minister subsequently officially reopened the re modelled Dannevirke South school, and also participated in the ceremony of unveiling the school’s war memorial, in which the member for the district. Mr. E. A. Ransom, and the Mayor, Mr. Runcinran, participated. The Minister left later for the north. Nothing is so far known as to the date of the* forthcoming visit of the Minister of Education, the Hon. R. A. Wright., to Gisborne. The district- member, Sir. W. I). Lysnav, had a conversation with the Minister prior to his departure from Wellington, when Mr. Wright stated that he would be paying a visit to Hawke’s Bay, and had decided to include Gisborne in his itinerary, in order to acquaint himself with the district and its requirements. Mr. Lysnar will ha*e definite information in due course as to fhe Minister’s tour.
