SCHEME ENDORSED
EMPLOYMENT FOR BOYS MINISTER IMPRESSED (Per Press Association.) DANNEVIRKE, this day. The discussion in the Arbitration Court at Auckland yesterday, during which a suggestion was made that a central board should be established in each main centre to advise parents on flic choice of careers for their boys was brought under the notice of the Minister of Education, the Hon. R. A. Wright, by an Evening News’ representative. The Minister said he had read the report and was very much struck with the suggestion. He considered something of the kind was necessary, owing to the difficulties which parents were encountering in placing boys in remunerative pursuits. He intimated that the Education Department would be pleased lo co-operate in any way possible if a scheme on the lines suggested were evolved.
