THE DEAD ROBBED
AFTER TRAIN ACCIDENT EVIDENCE AT INQUEST SYDNEY, October 5. The inquest in connection with the Murulla railway disaster was resumed. A passenger who was injured in the accident gave evidence that when he recovered consciousness he found the pocket of the waistcoat in which he had £3 had been eut, and the money gone. He also stated that another passenger travelling to Sydney to consult a specialist, had £lO in his pocket to pay the fee. This man was killed, and when the body was examined only J7d was found. The man’s gold.ring was also missing. Witness, in reply to a question, said he saw no one.take., money from anyone.
