POVERTY BAY REPS. TO MEET DUNEDIN’S TEAM. Tlie Poverty Bay team to meet the soccer eleven of the HALS. Dunedin were nominated by the selectors at last night’s meeting of the Poverty Bay Football Association, held in the Farmers’ Union rooms. The association received a report, from the chairman, Mr. J. J. McDonald, concerning the arrangements for the match. The visitors had written asking tho Gisborne body to undertake the organisation of the match, arid a considerable amount of interest bad been shown locally in the engagement. He suggested that the association should issue tickets for tho Reserve, on which both the soccer and Rugby matches will be played on YY'edliesday afternoon. The team submitted by Hie selectors lo represent Poverty Bay was as follows: Goal-keeper, Mclvor; backs, G. Clark and R. Downie; halves, J. Hanna. P. Roots, and E. YVoodrow; forwards, Armstrong, Watt, Graham, Howarth, and H. Hill. Reserves, Howitson, Bell, and Bridges. Mr. J. Miller was appointed to referee the game. ' .
