BEGGARS PESTER WOMAN. NERVOUS BREAKDOWN. ADELAIDE, September 20. Mrs. G. H. Hodgins, of Hilton, who recently inherited £70,000 from a deceased uncle in Britain, has been so pestered with callers and begging letters that slie is suffering from a nervous breakdown. Her doctor has ordered her away for a rest. In some cases arrogant demands have been made for sums from £3OO to £3OOO, for purposes which by no stretch of tho imagination coiild be regarded as legitimate charitable objects. - ___ m
