FORMED INTO COMPANY AVOIDING TAXATION (Australian and N.Z. Cable Association.! LONDON, October ± The Duke of Devonshire has turned his family estates into a company called "Chatsworth Estates Limited." He is the seventh duke to adopt this course. ■ The Dailv Express says that a landowner thus avoids excessive taxation and is enabled to deduct the running expenses of his estate from his income tax and put more money into development, and avoid death duties.
