FARM HAND MISSING
BELIEVED TO BE DROWNED (Per Press Association.) THAMES, this day. The sergeant of police received a telegram this morning from Constable Cannon, of Whitianga, that Robert Pitman, a, farmhand, of Coroglen, has been missing since 6 p.m. on October 2. It is believed that he was drowned while crossing a ford at Caroglen. A search party is now out dragging the river.
