CRASHED INTO POLE
SERVICE CAR DAMAGED (Per Press Association.! WAIROA, this day. A accident occured this morning on the Ntthaka road about a mile past the Taraenui bridge, when a Gisborne service car, owing to the breaking of an axle, missed a culvert at tile Bend and struck a telegraph pole and overturned. The car was considerably damaged, but tlio passeingers, fortunately, escaped with a severe shaking.
