PACIFIC FLIGHT
CAPTAIN WILLIAMS,RESUMES SYDNEY, September 29. Captain Williams has departed on the continuation of his Pacific flight. MORE ENGINE TROUBLE FORCED LANDING MADE (Received Sept. 30. 11 a.m.) BRISBANE, Sept. 30. During the second step of his Pacific flight, shortly after passing Tweed Heads, engine trouble developed, and Captain Williams was forced to descend in the open sea near Southport. The sea was rough at the time, and the machine received a severe buffeting Tho engine was temporarily repaired, and the' machine was beached.
