DAMAGES CLAIMED

Before the Magistrate to-day Sydney James Calcraft, an X-ray worker, claimed £152, including £135 damages, from Dr. H. T. Thacker. Tho plaintiff said that while at Romford Institute, England, with a pernian cut job, getting in ' all £4 a week, UL Thacker told him to come, to Now Zealand, where he had a splendid X-ray plant and could double plaintiff’s salary.
