In the Legislative Council to-day the Native trustee Amendment Rill and the Native Land Amendment, and the Native Land Claim- Adjustment Bib. were put through their tinal stages and passed, with amendments. The Workers Compensation Amendment Bill and the Maori Arts and ('rails Hill were passed unamended, At the evening sitting the Council put through the final stages, prated teally without discussion, the Rural Advances Rill. Pensions Rill. Westport Harbor Amendment Hill, Education Amendment Bill, and Bank of New Zealand Rill, all without amendment.
