d'u iho Editor of the Herald.) , —ln your issue of September 4 a description is (given of fiho building about to be erected for the Poverty Bay Power Board, and 1 note that it' is intended that the design of the structure is to he thoroughly in keeping with the new demand for dignity and convenience. May I inquire if this demand has come into existence since the acceptance of the design for the Y.M.C.A.? Of course, when this building is completed, the design may prove to he chaste, dignified, and convenient', but at ttho present time I am lost in amazement. —I am, etc.. CASUIST THE SECOND.
