Two .small cliilflrp.ii. whose ages are about nine and seven, yesterday morning drilled away from Devoiiport in a, .t.'nw’s dinghy. 'll iev are brother and sister, the boy being 11 to older. The boat was carried by a. north-east wind, and floated with the tide into the middle of (he harbor. Here the sea was somewhat choppy. 'The .signalman at North Head noticed the children, and communicated their predicament to the Harbor Hoard olltcia! on Queen’s wharf. It was not necessary, however. b> dispatch the lauimii as the Northern -Co.'s auxiliary scow Tulioe, which was passing at the time, nicked tin 1 children up. ami also lowed the dinghy to the Northern wliaif.
